Established in 1976 and is dedicated to the patronage of St. Francis of Assisi. The parish is located in Tana River County, it is the oldest parish in Garissa Diocese.

This parish was the first to be established by the Capuchin Friars in Kenya in 1974. Situated in the episcopal jurisdiction of Malindi Diocese, Lamu County.

Due to the practical need for having a house near the Capital City (Nairobi), the brothers were invited by the late servant of God Maurice Cardinal Otunga to take up Ruiru parish from the Holy Ghost Fathers in 1979. The parish is located in Kiambu County.

In response to the invitation by the local ordinary, Telanet parish was established in 2015. It is found in Kericho County.

This parish situated in West Pokot County was handed over to the friars by the Comboni Missionaries in 2017.

In the year 2019, the friars were invited by the ordinary to take up this parish in Kericho County which was previously being run by a diocesan priest.

The friars took up the running of this parish situated in Kajiado County in 2019 to serve the people at the request of the local ordinary.

Was established in 2018 by the Dominican Friars and handed on to the Capuchin Friars in 2020 for its running. Situated in Kisumu County along Mamboleo- Muhoroni road.
